Redline Insurance Inc. (DBA Redline Insurance Agency), California License #6015449, is a licensed independent insurance brokerage. Payments collected through this website are insurance premium down payments and applicable broker fees. They are not payments for goods.

What your payment is When you make a payment on this site, you are paying premium (or a portion of premium) toward an insurance policy placed through Redline, plus any disclosed broker fee. Premium funds are held in our trust account and remitted to the applicable insurance carrier. Coverage is not bound or in force until confirmed in writing by Redline and the carrier. A payment alone does not bind coverage.

Cancellations and premium refunds You may cancel a policy at any time, subject to the terms of your policy and the issuing carrier's rules. Premium refunds, if any, are determined and issued by the insurance carrier in accordance with the policy terms and applicable California law, typically on a pro-rata or short-rate basis depending on the policy. Redline does not set, guarantee, or pay premium refunds out of its own funds. The time to receive a carrier refund varies by carrier.

Broker fees Redline charges a broker fee, separate from premium, disclosed to you in writing in a signed broker fee agreement before payment, as required under California Insurance Code Section 1749.851. The broker fee is fully earned when paid and is non-refundable.

Errors and duplicate payments If you are charged in error or make a duplicate payment, contact us within 30 days and we will correct or refund the erroneous amount promptly.

Coverage terms, limits, exclusions, and pricing are set by the issuing carrier and described in your policy documents, which control in the event of any conflict with this site. Redline acts as your broker in placing coverage and does not underwrite insurance. Nothing on this site is an offer or guarantee of coverage.
